The Fun Stuff
While the true focus and passion of my life so far
has been my work, there's a lot more to me!
Here you will find some interesting and possibly surprising things about me.

I went to the African country of Ghana on a whim, and it was one of the best, most life-changing experiences imaginable! I went through a volunteer program, where our focus was an orphanage in the small suburb of Adam-Nana, about two hours outside the capital of Accra. Nearly ten years later I still think about it every day, and I keep in touch with my host family as often as possible.
And, if you've never tried the African exfoliating nets, you're missing out (I'll never stop using one!)

I was on a reality show, The Millionaire Matchmaker.
It was one of those experiences that came completely by surprise, and almost didn't happen!
When I received a message on Facebook from the casting director, it was so out of left field that I figured it was spam. Just as I was about to delete it, I figured "Why not reply and see what happens?"
To my surprise, it was not only real, but they asked me to audition and a few days later, I got confirmation I was selected to be on the show.
While it was a really fun experience, it confirmed that reality TV is definitely not for me!

From 2008 - 2012, I was a regular at the Playboy Mansion, working the parties and events.
While it was initially surreal to step foot on such infamous grounds, I quickly felt at home and have many great memories there. Every single person I met was nothing short of wonderful and dedicated to upholding the highest standard of excellence.
Not only that, thanks to a very nice chef who shall remain nameless, I was the lucky one to get the piece of wedding cake with Hef's face on it at his last (and final) wedding!
I am still kicking myself for eating it, unfortunately the thought of saving it didn't cross my mind until it was too late, so I'm only left with this picture!
I am obsessed with Severance, to the point I considered joining the writer's strike to help bring the next season back sooner! No other show has taken up so much space in my mind, and despite my endless strategizing, researching and discussing, I still come across compelling new theories regularly - Any show that can do that is something special in my book! If you haven't seen it yet, I'm very jealous and I suggest you get on that right away. If you have seen it, I would love to hear your theories!

My family is very small, and I am the eldest sibling and
cousin (all girls too!)
With the exception of a few relatives in New York, my whole family lived within driving distance for the majority of my childhood, and we were very close. My cousins and I were inseparable, and we have many embarrassing home videos and pictures to prove it!

While most of my friends and peers made the decision to go to a university after high school, I decided to follow my heart and jump into my career.
At the time, it seemed like a scary choice to make. However, I was surrounded by brilliant and accomplished individuals who had no degrees to speak of, and I was fortunate to have their mentorship and support.
While it is certainly not the ideal path for everyone, it was ultimately the best decision for me. Getting a head start in my career was exciting, fulfilling, and the things I learned during that pivotal time remain invaluable, even today (and it was also nice to skip the student debt!)
I put my heart and soul into the things I am passionate about, and there is nothing that can stop me from accomplishing something once I've set my mind to it.
With a solid professional history comparable to those often much older than I am, a relentless dedication to success, and a continual desire for growth and knowledge, I know that as long as I uncover the right opportunities, the sky's the limit!
